Lower Blepharoplasty (Puffy Lower Eyelids)

Puffy lower eyelids make a person seem tired. The puffiness is due to bulging fat pads. When the excess from these fat pads is removed, the lower eyelid can contract and tighten and smooth out, giving a more relaxed and rested look.

I do not take out skin from the lower lid, and I do not like the look when skin has been taken out. Then the lid seems too tight, too short or small. Instead, by going from the inside, the surgery does not interfere with the eyelid at all.

After the surgery, the skin/muscle eyelid will shrink down and become tight and flat.

This surgery will not do anything for the wrinkles around the eye. Only one of the forms of a chemical peel will have an effect on those wrinkles.
